Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
